New Delhi — Rungta Tea has announced the expansion of its Real Taste Masala Chai into the Delhi NCR market, marking a step in its broader growth strategy across North India.
The product will be available at price points of Rs. 5, Rs. 10, Rs. 20, and in a 250g pack, aiming to cater to a wide range of consumers. According to the company, the blend has previously been introduced in states including West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Founder and Managing Director Girjesh Rungta said the company’s blending process has been developed over 25 years across different regional markets. “NCR consumers deserve that same proven standard, and that is exactly what we are bringing,” he said.
Rungta Tea is entering the Delhi NCR market through a network of distributors and retailers, following a distribution approach it has used in other regions. The company stated that it intends to build long-term relationships in the market rather than focus on rapid expansion.
The pricing strategy includes low-cost sachets, which the company said are intended to make the product accessible to a broader consumer base. It also noted that it does not pass market entry costs on to consumers.
Head of Marketing Peeyush Rungta said the company aims to maintain consistent product standards while adapting its availability and packaging for new markets.
With this launch, Rungta Tea continues what it describes as a consolidation phase across key states, focusing on strengthening trade relationships as part of its expansion efforts.
