Mumbai — nCore Games concluded the FAU-G: Bharat League 2.0 (FBL 2.0) Finals for its shooter title FAU-G: Domination over the weekend, marking what organizers described as the first on-ground esports LAN event for a made-in-India game.
Held at Smaaash in Mumbai, the finals brought together more than 100 finalists from 28 states and over 70 cities, with participants qualifying through nationwide online rounds that saw participation from a large number of players. According to the organizers, many finalists came from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
The tournament featured a prize pool of Rs. 50,00,000, an increase from Rs. 3,00,000 in the previous edition, which was conducted online. Additional initiatives included upskilling opportunities such as international exposure visits, career counselling, and training programs.
Debashish “MatrixOG” Bachyas from Assam won the top Titan tier prize. The event was attended by gaming enthusiasts, influencers, and industry figures, including Akshay Kumar, mentor to nCore Group and Dot9 Games, who addressed participants during the finals.
The event also included a collaboration with Interio by Godrej, which showcased ergonomic gaming furniture designed for extended gameplay.
Organizers said upcoming updates for FAU-G: Domination will include new features such as player clans and a broader esports roadmap.
