Mumbai: Saatvik Green Energy, a leading solar PV module manufacturer, has taken a significant step towards sustainable agriculture in Maharashtra by securing a contract with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL). The company will supply high-efficiency solar submersible pumps to 250 strategic locations across the state.

These solar-powered pumps, ranging from 3HP to 7.5HP, are designed to cater to various agricultural needs, including irrigation, drinking water supply, and livestock watering. They are manufactured using 100% stainless steel and equipped with high-efficiency motors and controllers. The pumps have been certified by NABL accredited labs for their performance and quality.

Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with MSEDCL, stating, “We are proud to contribute to Maharashtra’s solar energy goals by empowering farmers with reliable and sustainable irrigation solutions. These solar pumps will not only reduce reliance on diesel and grid electricity but also help mitigate the impact of climate change.”

Saatvik Green Energy has been actively involved in Maharashtra’s solar energy landscape, supplying high-quality solar PV modules to major developers, government bodies, and commercial and industrial customers. The company has also played a crucial role in the implementation of the PM-KUSUM Yojana, promoting solar-powered agricultural practices.

Maharashtra, with its ambitious renewable energy targets, is at the forefront of India’s solar revolution. The state’s commitment to sustainable development and its focus on solar-powered initiatives like PM-KUSUM and the Surya Scheme have created a favorable environment for solar energy adoption. Solar submersible pumps are particularly beneficial in drought-prone regions, ensuring a reliable water supply for farmers.

As Maharashtra continues to lead the way in India’s renewable energy transition, Saatvik Green Energy is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping a greener and more sustainable future for the state.
