Mumbai: — ART Fertility Clinics, in collaboration with the Mumbai Obstetric & Gynecological Society (MOGS), hosted the Annual Conference 2025 – ‘Lab to Life’ in Mumbai, bringing together global and Indian leaders in assisted reproductive technology (ART), gynecology, and embryology.
The one-day conference focused on bridging the gap between laboratory innovation and real-life clinical outcomes in fertility care. It featured insightful panel discussions, expert-led sessions, and the latest in scientific research covering ovarian stimulation, stem cell therapy, the impact of paternal aging, and the future role of AI in embryology.
Renowned international fertility specialists such as Prof. Dr. Human Fatemi, Prof. Dr. Barbara Lawrenz, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Baris Ata, and Dr. Laura Melado Vidales, joined top Indian voices including Dr. Sujata Dalvi, Dr. Meenakshi Dua, and Dr. Rajvi Mehta. Participants included clinicians, embryologists, researchers, postgraduate students, and fertility counselors—making the conference a comprehensive platform for knowledge exchange and skill building.
Key sessions also addressed persistent challenges like thin endometrium, adenomyosis, and uterine health, debunking prevalent myths and urging evidence-based solutions. Sessions on in vitro maturation (IVM) and the use of AI in lab practices further highlighted the technological evolution in reproductive health.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Human Fatemi, Group Medical Director, ART Fertility Clinics, emphasized the importance of combining science with compassion.
“Reproduction is a natural process, but nearly 20% of couples face fertility challenges. At ART Fertility Clinics, we aim to empower patients with evidence-based care, personalized diagnosis, and cutting-edge tools that increase their chances of parenthood.”
Dr. Somesh Mittal, CEO of ART Fertility Clinics India, underscored the clinic’s commitment to high success rates through individualized treatment strategies, stating that their 11 clinics across India deliver global standards through advanced diagnostics, ethical practices, and emotional support.
Dr. Parul Katiyar, Medical Director, noted the success of ART Fertility’s India journey since 2021, highlighting the clinic’s ability to help patients conceive using their own gametes even in complex cases.
“We take pride in offering second opinions, where patients have often conceived naturally after being advised donor cycles elsewhere,” she said.
The conference reaffirmed ART Fertility Clinics’ position at the forefront of India’s fertility care revolution, with its integration of research, ethics, and global expertise playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of reproductive medicine in India.
