S8UL Qualifies for Pokémon UNITE World Championships 2026

Mumbai — S8UL has qualified to represent India at the Pokémon UNITE World Championships 2026 after winning the national qualifier, securing a place at the global event scheduled in San Francisco from August 28 to 30.

This will be the fourth time S8UL has represented India at the tournament, the most by any team from the country. The team has now won four of the five national qualifiers आयोजित for the championship to date.

The India Qualifier followed a double-elimination format. S8UL progressed through the upper bracket with 2-0 victories over Anti Secure, GodLike, and Team QML. In the grand finals, the team faced Revenant XSpark and won 3-2 in a best-of-five series. With the win, S8UL earned USD 15,000 from the event’s USD 25,000 prize pool.

The roster, led by captain Manmohan Singh, includes Anklesh Satelkar, Darshan Nate, Naitik Jain, and Md Sarim Hasan. Singh said the team focused on discipline, communication, and adaptability during the tournament, adding that qualifying again provides an opportunity to represent India on an international stage.

The World Championships will feature a total prize pool of USD 500,000.

S8UL’s qualification adds to a series of results across multiple titles this year, including wins in BGMI India Series 2026 and other tournaments. The organization has also been selected as a Club Partner for the Esports World Cup 2026, where it aims to compete across 13 titles.
