Huace Partners With Utopai Studios for AI-Driven Content Creation

Mumbai — Huace Film & TV Co. Ltd. and Utopai Studios announced a partnership in which Huace will adopt Utopai’s artificial intelligence system, PAI, as a core tool for long-form narrative creation.

Under the agreement, Huace has committed to large-scale use of PAI across its production operations, alongside a usage-based revenue-sharing arrangement. The collaboration marks a step in Utopai Studios’ international expansion and aligns with increasing demand for customizable and secure AI systems across different regulatory environments.

Huace, a major Chinese film and television company, operates across development, production, and distribution. Its content reaches more than 200 countries and regions and is distributed عبر more than 20 international platforms, including Netflix and YouTube, according to the announcement. The company also maintains one of the world’s largest television intellectual property libraries.

The partnership follows Huace’s evaluation of available AI tools, with a focus on systems capable of supporting narrative continuity and full production workflows. Zhao Yifang, founder and chairwoman of Huace Group, said the company selected PAI for its ability to support long-form storytelling and end-to-end production needs.

PAI, Utopai Studios’ flagship system, is designed for cinematic storytelling and trained on narrative structure and continuity. The company recently updated the system to include three-minute 4K video generation and multi-shot sequencing capabilities aimed at improving consistency across scenes.
