Flipkart Named Among Best Organisations for Women 2026

Bengaluru — Flipkart has been recognised among ET Edge’s Best Organisations for Women 2026, highlighting its efforts to support women’s participation and leadership within the company.

The recognition, aligned with the theme “Power. Progress. Parity.”, acknowledges organisations implementing inclusive policies and equitable workplace practices. According to the announcement, Flipkart’s approach focuses on creating structured pathways for career growth and leadership development for women.

The company has introduced programmes such as Mom On Board, Springback, and Career & Cradle to support employees during maternity transitions and return-to-work phases. Leadership development is addressed through initiatives like Catalyze, which aims to build a pipeline of women leaders across the organisation.

Flipkart has also implemented hiring and early talent programmes, including Girls Wanna Code, GRiD, WIRED, and Vidyarthini, to expand opportunities for women in technology, supply chain, and business roles. These initiatives are supported by workplace policies such as parental benefits, childcare support, and employee communities like The Parent Circle.

Seema Nair, Chief Human Resources Officer at Flipkart, said the company’s focus has been on creating systems that enable long-term career growth for women. Sunita Quadros, Chief Operating Officer at Times Strategic Solutions Limited, said the recognition highlights organisations making measurable progress in gender inclusion.
