Amul Crosses 1 Lakh Crore

Amul Brand Turnover Surpasses ₹1 Lakh Crore in FY26

New Delhi — Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF) reported that the Amul brand’s turnover exceeded ₹1 lakh crore in the 2025–26 financial year, marking an 11% increase from ₹90,000 crore in 2024–25.

GCMMF’s own sales turnover reached ₹73,450 crore, up 11.4% from ₹65,911 crore in the previous year. According to the federation, the growth was supported by an expanded product portfolio of over 1,200 items and a wide distribution network.

The federation operates through 18 member district cooperatives and continues to focus on both domestic and international markets. During the year, Amul introduced fresh milk in Europe and the United States as part of its global expansion efforts.

The announcement follows Amul’s recognition as the top-ranked cooperative globally by the International Cooperative Alliance, according to the release.

In July 2025, the Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited (SPCDF) was launched under the Multi-State Cooperative Societies framework. The initiative aims to integrate dairy cooperatives from outside Gujarat into a broader national network.

GCMMF Chairman Ashokbhai Chaudhary said the milestone reflects consumer trust and the contribution of dairy farmers. Vice Chairman Gordhanbhai Dhameliya and Managing Director Jayen Mehta highlighted the cooperative model and expansion efforts as key factors in the federation’s growth.
