Coromandel International Limited launched a magnesium-fortified complex grade fertilizer called Paramfos Plus in Bengaluru. Sankarasubramanian S, Executive Director, Nutrient Business, Coromandel International, launched the product in the presence of the company’s senior leadership team and key channel partners from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
The Paramfos Plus fertiliser contains 16% nitrogen, 20% phosphorus, 13% sulfur, and 0.6% magnesium. Adding magnesium to plants increases photosynthesis, chlorophyll production, and promotes vegetative growth, improving both quality and yield. The product is versatile and can be used both as a base and top dressing on a wide variety of crops, including paddy, cotton, maize, sugarcane, pulses, ragi, groundnuts, oilseeds, and vegetables. Additionally, it is suitable for use on cereals, legumes, tuber crops, fruit-bearing plants, and various horticultural crops, ensuring comprehensive nutrient support across diverse agricultural practices.
