Zoreko Rolls Out the Red Carpet for National Bowling Tournament for Children with Disabilities

New Delhi: Zoreko, a leading gaming arena in India, is currently hosting the National Bowling Tournament for children with disabilities in collaboration with the Special Olympics Bharat Federation. The tournament, taking place at Zoreko’s Rajouri Garden location, began on September 2nd and will continue until September 4th, 2024.

55 participants from across the nation have gathered to showcase their bowling skills, vying for the top spot based on the highest score. This event follows Zoreko’s successful hosting of the State Championship for the same participants earlier this year, highlighting their commitment to inclusivity in sports. Zoreko is also gearing up to host an international bowling tournament for children with disabilities in November.

Avanish Agarwal, Consulting CMO, Zoreko says, “It is a pleasure to be able to host the National Bowling Tournament with Special Olympics Bharat. It means a lot to us to be able to contribute to the disabled community in a meaningful way, providing an accessible space where all children can come and play our world-class games and enjoy delicious food and beverages.”

V.K Mahendru, Executive Director, Special Olympics Bharat says, “For us, it is essential to go beyond the classroom for children with disabilities to keep them motivated to learn and develop. Involving the community is also important for their social development and more widespread acceptance of people with disabilities. We are happy to be partnering with Zoreko to bring our National Bowling Tournament to be played and enjoyed by all.”

This joint initiative by the Special Olympics Bharat Federation and Zoreko underscores the significance of accessibility and inclusion. It champions the belief that children with disabilities deserve equal opportunities for holistic development encompassing academics, sports, and social skills. By providing support and encouragement, these children can not only enjoy and benefit from sports but also experience personal growth, self-reliance, and increased acceptance within society.
